SAR/EX: there will be a SAR/DR Exercise throughout the state starting on or about  17 Sept and ending around 23 Sept.   Initial details have been distributed to provide some situational awareness, more information is coming.   Some operations will be conducted during the week yet most of the operations will be concentrated around the weekend.  There is a need for a complete team including Aircrew, COMMs, GT/UDF, and Mission Base/IC support.

Aircraft: SC Wing consolidated aircraft report indicates approximately 51 hours short of the goal (200 Per Aircraft Average) with two weeks remaining.  There are roughly 24 hours in the Cadet Orientation Budget and 30 Hours in the A-12 Proficiency budget funded flight time remaining.  The SC Wing Command Staff is asking each unit to fly two Cadet Orientation Sorties and two A12 Proficiency Flight Sorties to enhance our mission and mission capability.   Units without a currently assigned airplane contact the unit nearby for coordination – lets fly.
